Recent grad looking for buddy/room ≤800pcm

Hi! I’m Adrian, a 23-year-old recent Biotechnology graduate from the University of Manchester, and I’m looking to buddy up with someone to find a great 2-bed flat in Manchester (Ancoats, Salford, City centre, Ardwick, etc.)

My ideal move-in date is around 15th to 16th August 2026, although I can be flexible and move in earlier in August if needed. I prefer an en-suite but am also happy with a shared bathroom. I have a flexible budget; I would prefer something in between £ 700 and £ 1000 pcm

A little about me: I’m originally from Hong Kong and have been living in the UK for the past four years. I’ve also lived in Germany for a while, so I’m pretty adaptable and easy to get along with. I’m looking to share with another young professional, ideally male and between 21 and 30 years old, who wants a proper home rather than just a place to sleep.

I’m clean, considerate and fairly laid back. I keep shared spaces tidy, respect personal space, and generally have my life together (most of the time). I enjoy socialising and would be happy to share the occasional meal, drink or chat after work, but I also appreciate having time to myself.

A fair warning: I’m a big foodie and love cooking, so you will probably find me experimenting in the kitchen quite often. The upside is that there is always a good chance of interesting food appearing in the flat.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who values a clean and comfortable home environment, communicates well, and is up for creating a friendly, relaxed living space together.
