Description
Hi there! I am moving to Durham this September to start my postgraduate degree at the Durham University Business School.
I am looking for a comfortable, welcoming room to call home during my studies. Accommodation I am looking for: Ideally, I am searching for a room within a 10–15 minute walk to the Business School near the Waterside area. However, I am also completely open to places a bit further out, as long as they are within short walking distance to a reliable, direct bus stop for an easy daily commute.
Who I'd like to live with: I would love to live with live-in landlords, working professionals, or other mature postgraduate students who appreciate a clean, peaceful, and relaxed household. I am well past the chaotic university party stage and highly value a calm space to unwind and study.
Bonus points if you have pets! I absolutely adore animals and will happily share endless affection with any resident cats or dogs.
What to expect living with me: As a 39-year-old flatmate, I bring a high level of maturity, financial dependability, and respect for shared spaces. I keep communal areas spotless and am very mindful of quiet hours and personal privacy.
Outside of my studies, I love travelling, exploring new places, and cafe hopping in search of the perfect coffee. I also have a massive green thumb and love reading, so I am always happy to tend to house plants or chat about a good book over a cup of tea. I am independent but always down for a warm, friendly chat in the kitchen!
