Looking for a room in Brighton & Hove

Hi, I'm Shane.

I'm looking for a room in Brighton, preferably a double or a room with enough space to comfortably work, relax and store my belongings. My budget is up to £850 per month including bills, although anything below that would be a bonus.

I've worked in the cinema industry for the past five years in a stable full-time role. My shifts vary between 9am–5pm, 2pm–9:45pm and 5pm–midnight, so I like to be upfront that I'll be coming and going at different times. I'm always mindful of noise and have never had any issues living with others. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking and still enjoy making films and writing in my spare time.

I've lived in Brighton for many years and love the city's creative side. I'm a big fan of film, theatre, books and art, and you'll often find me at the cinema, reading, writing or working on creative projects. I'm fairly shy when I first meet people, but once I get to know someone I'm sociable and enjoy chatting over dinner, going for a drink or spending time with housemates.

I'm clean, respectful and reliable, and I value open communication and a relaxed, friendly home. I always clean up after myself and do my bit to help keep shared spaces tidy.

I'm ideally looking to move around the beginning of September, although I can be flexible for the right place.

I'm employed full-time and can provide references and proof of savings if required.
