Hello! My name is Vincenza - I'm 31 and moving to London from the US for a year-long postgraduate programme at LSE, so I'm looking for one furnished bedroom in a flatshare from September 2026 - September 2027.
Rather than student housing, I'm looking for a flatshare for a chance to meet more locals, so definitely down for a sociable household and to spend some time exploring London with flatmates. At the same time, it's important to me to respect everyone's space and independence, and will be treating my university work as a 9-5 so no odd hours and no working from home.
I'm a very tidy person and have been renting for 12 years now, and I value a reliably comfy home life and am very happy to do my share to contribute to that. (Ie sharing cleaning duties, being proactive with caring for the flat) I’m also a good baker and enjoy cooking for others!
Otherwise, I enjoy film, theater, cooking, boxing, and travel. An LGBT-friendly household with a cat is definitely a bonus! (I have to leave my own cat behind ;( )
I'm still in the US until September, so will need to view virtually, but I have my student visa and am ready for landlord checks and can provide a reference from my current landlord. I can provide a UK guarantor as well if necessary.
