Description
Hi! I will be joining a law firm in London starting September 2026 and am excited to set up my first home in the city. Although I have lived in Oxford before, I am keen to experience London life as a full-time resident.
I am looking to either rent a 1 bed 1 bath for myself, or buddy up for a 2 bed 2 bath home. I am flexible with locations at the moment but I would prefer a place which has basic amenities such as some level of furnishing, central maintenance, and perhaps a concierge (very flexible with requirements).
A little about myself as a flatmate: I value cleanliness, respecting each other's personal space, me-time (social battery needs recharging!), and making my house feel like a home :) I like adding personal renter-friendly touches to my home to make it cozy and welcoming (I have an instagram folder filled with inspiration).
I also enjoy having friends and family over occasionally (of course with reasonable notice and due consideration of my flatmate's preferences).
I would say I am responsible with chores and dividing tasks (you can ask my former flatmate for honest feedback!). I don't cook often but I'm hoping to change that as I start working full-time.
I expect to work fairly long hours in office but also occasionally work from home.
