Description
I’m looking to move into Manchester city centre (or very close by) around late 2026/January 2027.
I’m Manchester born and bred and work in the city, but I’ve never actually lived in a nice city-centre apartment. I’d love to finally do that and make somewhere feel like home for a good few years. 🏡
A little about me… I’m a gay man, so I’d ideally love to live with someone who’s part of, or at least understands, the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you’re a boy, girl or alien, I just want someone I know I’ll be comfortable with. 🫶🏻
I’d love a flatmate who’s also a friend. Not in a “we have to do everything together” way, because I absolutely respect personal space, but someone where it feels normal to ask, “Fancy watching something?”, “Want to grab a pint?” or “Should we cook dinner together?” every now and then. I think home should feel comfortable and safe, not like you’re sharing with a stranger.
Personality-wise, I’m pretty much 50/50 extrovert and introvert. One weekend I might be out at a rave or in the pub, the next I’ll disappear into my room binge-watching a series or reading. I love long walks, hikes, nights out, quiet nights in and pretty much everything in between.
I work in financial services, I’m a single corporate girlie, and I don’t have any pets. My best friends might come over occasionally, but they’re all lovely and respectful.
I’m clean and tidy, but I’m definitely not obsessive. I always clean up after myself and would expect the same from whoever I live with. If you’ve forgotten a mug on the side or haven’t cleaned something yet… that’s just life. Respectful not perfect is the vibe!
The only thing that’s really important to me is that you’re financially responsible. Rent and bills are something that affect both of us, so I’d want someone who’s reliable and organised when it comes to paying their share.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who also wants somewhere to feel like home rather than just a short-term stop. Obviously life happens and plans change, but if either of us ever decided to move on, it’d be nice to give each other as much notice as possible so nobody is left stressed trying to find a replacement.
If this sounds like your sort of vibe, I’d love to chat! We could grab a coffee, go for a drink or even just have a FaceTime to see if we’d get on, chat budgets, areas we’d like to live in and make sure neither of us is secretly a serial killer… mostly joking. 😂💘
Looking to move late 2026 or ideally January 2027, so there’s plenty of time to plan everything properly and find somewhere we’ll both genuinely love.
Feel free to drop me a message! 💘
