Description
Hi/hola! I’m Richard, a 33-year-old work-from-home voice over artist and actor from Spain and the United States. I’m looking for an en-suite room with good wifi in London – preferably with other performers.
I hold a BA in International Human Rights from Regent’s University London; an MSc in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS; and a PGCert in Applied Theater from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
I’m gregarious, friendly, patient, and empathic. I come with Spanish flair and Southern hospitality – so I love sharing meals, bonding over conversation, and hosting get-togethers (and I encourage my housemates to do the same!). I’m a Third Culture Kid and global nomad, so I’m experienced in navigating different cultural dynamics and potential misunderstandings with empathy and grace.
As a voiceover artist and actor, I record and audition a lot at home. For voiceover sessions, I need to be in an area that is quiet and with a flatmate whose job and schedule is compatible with me having silence in the apartment during the day while recording and my sessions not disrupting their focus either.
My ideal flatmate/s would be low-maintenance and flexible (but not disorderly), sociable and social, and, above all, comfortable with open communication. If they’re other performers, I’d be eager to have a mutually supportive environment.
I don’t drink, smoke, or use recreational drugs, and I’d rather match with people who don’t do the latter two. I’m not a pet owner, but LOVE animals (and they love me)!
I’d like to move in by August 1st.
