Help - Single dad needs room in South Bristol

Good afternoon!

So I'm not particularly good at asking for help, but I've got a huge favour and hoping someone is feeling kind.

I'm a 33 year old dad of two (5+3) who was lived in South Bristol for 12 years.

2 years ago I separated from my ex and we are currently going through court as she has decided to not sell or buy me out of the home we own together. I've been living in a bedsit in Eastville for the last year and I'm desperately looking for some accommodation in South Bristol nearer to my children. I know everybody says this about their own children, but they are genuinely wonderful and polite.

They go to Headley Park Primary and I just need a safe room or accommodation where somebody is okay with me and the kids staying. It's just not working out in this bedsit due to it being on the opposite side of Bristol to their school.

The kids are mainly with me at weekends at the minute but could potentially be more as I'm ultimately looking for 50% contact once our joint home is sold and we're both able to move on with our lives.

I've got limited resources financially as I'm paying a hefty whack in maintenance and spending quite a lot on solicitors so I'm looking for somebody kind who would have something for around £550 a month. I'm quite handy and would be more than happy to help around the house cutting hedges or doing DIY. Make me an offer.

I work full-time as a Firefighter for Avon Fire and have an enhanced DBS check. My current shift system is 4 day shifts on 6 days off.

I genuinely am really friendly, kind and easy going and just need someone to help me out in this time of need. I am hopeful that by this time next year I will have the means to get me and the kids our own flat to live in but at the minute I'm just stuck in limbo and need to be closer to the kids school to do pickups and drop off etc.

The kids certainly wouldn't be around all the time.

In my spare time I like to listen to music, go to festivals, hang with the kids, go paddle boarding on the harbour, take walks, meet new people.
