Seeking large room in period house/country house

I'm a web developer, 39. I'm seeking a large bedroom in either a period property, a modern townhouse or a farmhouse property that I can use for both comfortable living and as a small office workspace to complete studies from home and begin freelancing. I would be seeking to live here for a few years or potentially longer if conditions allow, and I'm open to suggested properties or locations in the East Midlands or within existing house shares.

I'm into country parks, cafés, PC-gaming, cooking/baking, a bit of guitar and exercise. I'm an introverted person, clean and tidy, and easy to get on with.

I have some of my own furniture that I'm looking to hold onto, so something that's unfurnished (room) and has existing furnished communal and living spaces is desirable. I also own a car and require somewhere with either sufficient driveway spaces or space within a private yard, etc. It would be a bonus if the property is located within easy reach of the high-speed East Coast train line.
