31F Professional Seeking Friendly Flatshare

Hi, I'm Alexa, 31F American expat looking for a room in East or North London with a September move-in. I’m hoping to find somewhere I can call home for at least 12 months, preferably longer. (Please note I’m not currently considering properties in far West London or Greater London.)

I’ve recently completed my MBA at Brunel University, secured my Graduate Visa, and will be starting a new management role with a youth development charity based in Dalston this August. I’ll typically work from home 2–3 days per week, with occasional 1–2 day work trips around the UK.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to plays, museums, reading, live music, running, hiking, trying new restaurants and bars, going out dancing, and spending time with friends exploring London.

I've always had positive experiences in shared homes and am looking forward to finding a great new one to settle into. I'm clean, considerate, easy-going, and a good hang :)

I have a pretty active life outside the house and really value having a comfortable, respectful home to come back to and recharge. I definitely appreciate everyone having their own space, but I'm also looking for a homey vibe where people genuinely know each other and enjoy spending time together. I love a shared meal, drink, film night, or catch-up from time to time, and would ideally like to live somewhere that feels welcoming, lived-in, and sociable. Not a party house, but somewhere friends can be invited over, we can host the occasional dinner or game night, and everyone feels at ease making the space their own.

Ideally I'm looking for a room in a friendly flatshare with other professionals who take pride in their home, respect one another, and enjoy living with people they genuinely get along with.
