Looking for room in Brighton, starting Sept

Hi! :) I'm Jyothi, looking for a room in a welcoming house in Brighton. I am a recent student graduate working at Sussex Student's Union. I want to live in a house that is commuting distance from Sussex University (max 30 mins by train or bus).

I am looking for a clean and well-maintained medium sized room with windows and good natural light. I don't mind which floor the room is on, and ideally there would be a toilet/bathroom on the same floor. I really want a garden, and it would be nice to have a living room/communal hangout space (but not a dealbreaker).

I am keen to live in a house with 3 - 5 other flatmates, who are friendly, and open-minded to cultural diversity. Kind communication is key for me, as it is important to be able to talk about things when living in a shared house.

I consider myself to be a thoughtful and considerate housemate, who keeps communal spaces tidy and is respectful of boundaries and other people's requests. I value both social and alone time, and would like to spend time together occasionally (once or twice a week).
