Physicist looking for a Stockbridge flat

Hi! I’ve just completed my Master’s in Physics and I’m moving to Edinburgh in mid-August to start a graduate engineering job at Leonardo on 1 September.
I’m friendly and sociable, and I’d ideally like to live somewhere people are happy to chat or occasionally do things together, while still respecting each other’s privacy and downtime. I’m clean, tidy and considerate in shared spaces.
Outside work, I enjoy climbing, playing guitar, coding and baking bread, so there’s a reasonable chance of fresh sourdough appearing in the kitchen.
I’m mainly looking around Crewe Toll and north or north-west Edinburgh, ideally with an easy bus or cycle commute to work. I’m also happy to look farther afield for somewhere more affordable, provided the commute is manageable.
My ideal budget is around £600-£800 per month, depending on the room, location and whether bills are included. I can stretch somewhat for an exceptional place, particularly if bills are included and the commute is convenient.
