Visiting PhD researcher looking for a room

Hi! My name is Matheus, I’m 35 and I’m from Brazil. I’ll be moving to Brighton on 6 October 2026 for a six-month research stay at the University of Brighton as part of my PhD.

I’m looking for a single or double room, preferably furnished, in a friendly, respectful and LGBTQ+ friendly household. My budget is around £800 pcm, ideally with bills included or with clear information about average monthly bills.

I’m tidy, quiet, respectful and easygoing. I’ll mostly be focused on my research, which is related to urban studies, diversity and inclusion, but I’d be happy to live with people who are friendly, considerate and open-minded.

I’m open to sharing with professionals, mature students or postgraduate students of any gender. I’m currently in Brazil, so I would be happy to arrange a virtual viewing before moving forward.
