Hi there!

I'm Elizabeth, a 29-year-old from Cuba. I'll be starting an MA in Education at Goldsmiths this September on a Chevening Scholarship, and I'm looking for a friendly, comfortable home in South East London, ideally in New Cross, Deptford, Peckham, Camberwell, Greenwich, or nearby areas.

About me:
I'm a creative and community-minded person. I run a community book club in Havana, where we read contemporary women authors from around the world and hold creative workshops. I'm passionate about literature, cinema, art, and cooking, and I'm always happy to share a meal, a film night, or a good book recommendation.

What I'm looking for:

A double room (furnished or unfurnished) in a calm, respectful household

Budget: ideally around £700-£900 pcm, including bills

Move-in date: mid-September (flexible)

LGBTQ+ friendly homes are very welcome

I value a clean, quiet space to study and recharge, but I also enjoy good company and the occasional social evening

What you can expect from me:
I'm tidy, reliable, and respectful of shared spaces. I communicate openly and I'm happy to stick to a cleaning rota. I like to get to know my housemates, but I also respect everyone's privacy and personal time. I'd love to be part of a home where people look out for each other and enjoy the occasional meal or chat together.
