Female Professional 29 - Bristol/Bath area

Hello!

My name’s Danni, I’m 29 & looking for a room to rent in or around Bristol! I am relocating from Scotland to live closer to my sister who just had her first baby & lives in Bath, so I’d like to find somewhere that’s easily commutable to there & also close to shops etc! I’m flexible on move in dates & rent depending on area/house, I just need to give my current landlord 4 weeks notice. A garden and en-suite would be amazing but not a deal breaker!

I’ve previously house shared & had really positive experiences, I’m friendly, considerate, very tidy & sociable. I currently live alone due to my friend moving in with her partner & have enjoyed the change but do miss having a little chat, sharing a dinner or watching a show together so would be great to get on well with a new housemate however I’m really respectful of peoples time & space, and love my own downtime after work to read, paint or watch some shows so happy to also just live in a friendly household as I can entertain myself 😊
I keep my space clean and tidy and like to do little odd jobs to make a place more of a home! I love being crafty & creative & have always been the flatmate who builds the furniture & hangs up the pictures so I’m your gal if you need a hand!

I work full time in admin, currently from home in my room but once I’m in a new city I’m going to look at changing this up & will probably work some days out of the house too, I recently got my diploma in counselling skills so I want to keep building on this & I will also be helping out my sister with her business.

I do come with my little furry family, so definitely looking for an animal lover who will be happy to share a home with them. I have Arlo a small dog who is almost 9, he’s a Romanian rescue so he can be a little fearful of men & can bark at strangers to begin with but he is the most loving dog ever once he has spent 10 minutes with you! He’s very lazy in the house & only moves to change sleeping positions but loves a good walk! Dennis is my indoor kitty, he’s 9 and is a very chilled cat who makes everyone fall in love with him & I also have a small animal cage in my room! We have previously fostered lots of dogs and cats so they are also great with other animals if you have any! 🐾
