Friendly, tidy and independent professional

Hi, I'm a quiet, friendly, independent and respectful museum professional / educator looking for a new place to live preferably in or near Chorlton (where I have an allotment).
I've spent the last 25 years renting a 3 bed flat in Chorlton (sadly landlord is selling) so have plenty of experience of shared living and am used to sharing spaces and facilities with others.
I'm hoping to find somewhere with a large room where I can spend time reading and pottering about amongst my many house plants so ideally looking for a light and airy space. I work from work Monday to Friday, tend to be away aprox 1 weekend per month, but otherwise like to spend my weekends at home and at my allotment.
I'm independent but friendly and sociable and would like to share in a relaxed and respectful place where I can feel at home. I tend to keep myself to myself but do enjoy (batch) cooking and dealing with various allotment gluts throughout the year (always happy to share courgettes and jam!). I cycle about mostly so need somewhere to store my bike, and also have a car.
