Description
Hi! I’m Caitlyn, 24, and I’m moving back to London after 6 years in Birmingham, so I’m looking for my own room in a friendly, sociable house.
I’m originally from Kingston, but I moved to Birmingham for university and stayed for the last few years working and starting my teaching career. I’m now moving back to London for a new job teaching A-level Biology in Battersea, so I’m ideally looking for somewhere with a manageable commute to work (around 50 minutes max).
Outside of work, I love travelling, trying new things, art, sport, gigs and events. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 35 countries/territories and I’m always planning my next trip or finding something new to do. I’m often the person who spots an event, exhibition, restaurant or activity online and wants to give it a go, so I’d love to live with people who are also up for exploring London and making the most of living here.
I’m hoping to find a friendly house where people actually get to know each other - whether that’s cooking dinner together, heading to the pub, going to events, exploring London, day trips or just having a chat in the kitchen. I love cooking and regularly try making food from different cuisines, so I’d definitely be up for shared meals.
I’m also very respectful of personal space and happy doing my own thing. I’m not looking for a house where everyone has to socialise all the time, just somewhere with a nice balance where people are friendly and enjoy spending time together when they’re around. I’m tidy, organised and considerate of shared spaces.
What I’m looking for:
• My own single room (furnished preferred)
• Budget: up to £800–£1,000/month
• Move-in ASAP
• Ideally a house of professionals, but open-minded
• Happy with mixed or female households
• Flexible on house size and age range - I’ve lived with lots of different people before and am mainly looking for friendly, respectful housemates
If you have a room available and think I could be a good fit for your house, I’d love to hear from you!
