Hi! I'm Michelle, a master's student at King's College London finishing my degree in September. I'm American, originally from California, and I've been living in London for the past year.

Looking for: a room from around 10–12 September. Budget £550–650 per month, bills included. Ideally East or Northeast London with a direct line to Bank: Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Bow, Mile End, Whitechapel, Shadwell or similar. Open to other locations. Lodger rooms and live-in landlord arrangements very welcome.

I work part-time in hospitality around Bank and Notting Hill, so I'm out of the house most days - usually a morning shift, then the library, then an evening shift. I'm quiet, tidy, and not a party person. Happy to be sociable with housemates over a cup of tea, but equally happy to keep to myself.

Non-smoker, no pets, no drugs.

On finances: I have regular weekly income from hospitality work and can provide bank statements showing it, plus a student status letter from KCL. My work is through a shift platform rather than a single employer, so I don't have traditional payslips from one company, but I'm happy to be completely transparent about income and can discuss a guarantor if needed.
