Flexible Rent for Mature PhD

Hi there, I'm Matt and I'm looking for a room for my time in York as I start a PhD in Safe AI.

I start in mid-September but can be flexible about exact move-in dates. The course lasts 4 years but I plan to move back to the south to work remotely between 6 months and a year in depending on work commitments.

I've never lived in York before and am super excited to explore the surrounding areas. I love climbing, hiking and running and have a campervan, so probably won't be around much at weekends whilst I'm off exploring/seeing friends.

I'm very chilled out to live with and have lived in house shares since uni. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful and interested in getting to know my housemates (I won't lock myself in my room all hours of the day and night). Being past my party days, I'm looking for a professional house share or similar in a friendly environment. My girlfriend is currently travelling but when she's back she may visit from time to time.

I hope that's a solid enough overview! Looking forward to meeting prospective housemates and getting something sorted! I'm available for viewings up until the end of August before I go on holiday :)
