Visiting Scholar seeks a nice room in West End

Hi,

I am an incoming Visiting Scholar at the University of Glasgow and am looking for accommodation for 12 months.

Move-in date: around 18 August 2026
Length of stay: 12 months
Occupants: 1 adult only
Budget: £700–£1,000 pcm (depending on bills and location)

What I’m looking for:
- A clean 1-bedroom flat, or a nice room in a quiet flatshare
- Preferred areas: Hyndland, Partick, Hillhead, Kelvinbridge, Dowanhill, or nearby West End
- Non-smoking household
- No pets preferred

About me:
- Visiting Scholar / academic researcher at the University of Glasgow
- Arriving on 18 August 2026 and can move in at anytime after arrive
- Non-smoker, no pets
- Quiet, clean, respectful and easy-going
- I can provide university invitation letter, passport/visa documents and proof of funds or other documents if need
