Wanted: studio / en-suite room with kitchenette

Hi! I’m looking for somewhere lovely to call home and hoping I might find the right place through SpareRoom.

Ideally, I’m looking for a self-contained studio, annexe, or a good-sized en-suite room with its own kitchenette/cooking facilities. I’m quite flexible about the exact setup — my main priorities are having my own bathroom and somewhere I can prepare and cook food, with a little privacy and independence.

A bit about me… I’m friendly, warm, sociable and very easy to get along with, but I’m equally happy in my own company and very respectful of other people’s space and privacy.

I’m clean and tidy an and would look after someone else’s property as carefully as I would my own, I take pride in making a space look lovely, and genuinely appreciate having a nice environment to live in.

I’m mature and responsible, but definitely young at heart! I love the coast, being creative, interiors/DIY, music, seeing friends and getting out and about. I’m friendly and chatty without needing to live in anyone’s pocket.

I’m currently going through a change in circumstances and looking to move into a furnished space whilst looking for a house to move my own furniture into for the next chapter of my life.

I’m hoping to find somewhere that feels safe, comfortable and homely rather than simply somewhere to sleep.

I’m particularly interested in a studio, converted garage/outbuilding, annexe, loft-style space or en-suite room where I can have a reasonable degree of independence. I’m very happy to consider something a little unusual if the space and arrangement are right.

I’d love to hear from private landlords/homeowners who care about who is living in their property and would appreciate having a considerate, trustworthy and house-proud tenant.
