Couple looking for a home in Cambridge

Hi! We're a friendly, responsible couple looking for a long-term home in Cambridge, ideally within around 15 minutes' cycling of the city centre.

We're particularly keen to hear from private landlords and people who may know of a property that's coming available but isn't being widely advertised. We're very open-minded about the type of property — a house, flat, annexe, cottage, converted property or something a little unusual could all work.

What we're looking for

• 2 bedrooms — we'd use the second room as a home office, storage, hobbies/activities, or a combination of these
• Up to £1,400 pcm, with something around £1,000–£1,200 being ideal
• Cambridge or nearby, preferably within ~15 minutes' cycling of the centre
• Available ASAP
• Furnished or unfurnished — either is fine
• A garden/outdoor space would be a big bonus
• We're especially interested in whole properties rather than rooms in shared houses

We're not looking for anything fancy. A well-kept, comfortable home with a good landlord is much more important to us than having a modern or luxurious property.

We're reliable, considerate tenants looking to settle somewhere rather than move around constantly. We're happy to provide references, proof of income and any other information a landlord needs, and we'd be very happy to meet and view a property at short notice.
