Professional dad looking for a comfortable double

I'm Darren, 48, a full-time professional looking for a comfortable home while my circumstances settle.

I'm friendly, sociable and easy-going, but equally happy doing my own thing. I'm clean and considerate, enjoy a chat and getting to know the people I live with, and I'm an animal lover, so a home with pets would be absolutely fine with me.

I'm also a dad to an 8-year-old daughter who would occasionally stay with me overnight/weekends, so I'm looking for somewhere where that would be welcome.

I occasionally work from home too, although I'm not permanently chained to a laptop in my bedroom!

I'm looking for a comfortable double room, studio or similar around the Burnham-on-Sea/Highbridge area, ideally somewhere I can settle into and treat as home rather than simply somewhere to sleep.

I'm fairly independent and have my own car, but I'd like to be somewhere with everyday amenities nearby so I can establish my own routine locally.

Initially I'm looking at around six months, although I'd be very open to staying longer if the arrangement works well for everyone.
