Easygoing professional (35) relocating from the US

Hi! I’m Dat, 35, relocating to London from Philadelphia for a new role at a global health NGO. My work is mostly remote, so I’ll be spending a lot of time at home during the week.
A bit about me: I’m tidy, easygoing, and enjoy having my own space while also being happy to chat in the kitchen or share a meal now and then. I like to cook, I’m quiet during the day (WFH), and I’m generally low-maintenance to live with. No pets (but don’t mind pets if you have any). Non-smoker.
Background is a mix of management consulting and academic research, so I’ve lived in a lot of different cities and I’m used to settling into new places quickly.
What I’m looking for:
• A private bathroom (en-suite or otherwise) is a priority
• Ideally a maximum of 1–2 flatmates
• Areas: Stoke Newington, Highbury, Canonbury, Herne Hill, Bermondsey, or similar - open to other well-connected areas with a good local high street
• Budget: up to £1,400 pcm (bills included or not, either works)
• Available from early September 2026
• Open to shorter-term to start, but very open to it becoming a longer-term home if it’s a good fit
