Italian postdoc looking for a room

Hi! I’m looking for a room in Manchester for *around three months*.

I’m an Italian postdoctoral researcher in Psychology (F, 32 y/o) and I’ll be spending a few months at the University of Manchester. Ideally, I’m looking for a room from mid-October for *three months*, although I can be ABSOLUTELY flexible with both the start date and length of stay.

I’m open to different areas of Manchester, as long as the house is well connected to the university. I won’t be on campus every day, as I often work from home or from cafés. So I’m ideally looking for a place close to some nice cafés, or simply somewhere where I can comfortably work from home.

Filling out this profile has made me realise I might be an exceptionally boring person 😅 I’m an early bird, I love quiet mornings, good coffee, routines and cosy evenings, and I’m definitely not a party person. That said, I love a good chat and would really enjoy living in a friendly, relaxed home where people actually get to know each other.

I absolutely love dogs and cats, so a home with pets would be a huge bonus.

I’d also really like to use my time in Manchester to improve my English, so living with English-speaking or international housemates would be ideal.
