Friendly Kiwi + Shiba seeking 2-bed share

Hi, I’m Joel — a 35-year-old Kiwi living in North London. for the past 11 years.

I own and run a small chain of specialty coffee shops/cafés and a bakery. Before that, I worked in web, software, design and project management.

I’m into coffee, food, baking, design, tech, plants, travel and the outdoors. I play badminton once or twice a week, cycle, and enjoy a good cocktail.

I work hard, so home is somewhere I really value being able to relax and recharge. I’m sociable and enjoy a chat, watching a film, having a drink or hanging out together, but I also appreciate having my own space and would equally respect yours.

I’m very clean and tidy and looking for someone similar. I like a home to feel comfortable and relaxing rather than just somewhere to sleep. I already have most household essentials and furnishings, but I’m happy to make a place feel like home together.

Ideally, I’m looking to share a 2-bed with one other person in Central/North London. I mostly work from my cafés/bakery, with occasional admin days from home.

One important addition: I share custody of Kenzo, my 5-year-old Shiba Inu, who would stay with me around half the time. He’s friendly, well-trained, quiet and generally spends a lot of his time sleeping! He loves people, walks and adventures, and has a few tricks up his sleeve too. I take full responsibility for keeping things clean and making sure having him around works well for everyone. If you’d enjoy walking him you’d be very welcome to!
