Description
Hello — I'm Arthur, a 29-year-old Brazilian economist joining Imperial College London as a visiting researcher at the Centre for Environmental Policy. Not a student course: this is a professional research placement, and I work in fiscal policy for a state government back home.
I'm looking for a room from 12 September to 30 December.
I'll be at Imperial most weekdays, so I'll be out during the day, and the flat would mostly be for evenings and weekends for me. I'm very sociable, but I also value quiet and my own space, so I'm easy to live with either way. Clean and tidy, non-smoker, no pets of my own (very happy to live with one).
Outside work I geek out on two things in roughly equal measure: economics and pop divas. I'll happily explain Brazilian fiscal policy or Ariana Grande's discography, and I've been told the enthusiasm is identical either way. I also travel whenever I can and read a fair amount of history, mostly economic, a nerdier way of saying I like knowing why places turned out the way they did.
Ideally somewhere on the District or Piccadilly line, or well connected to South Kensington. I'm equally interested in areas with good access to central London.
I'm in Brazil until September, so I can't view in person, but I'd be happy to do a video call so we can get a sense of each other before anything is agreed.
