Double room in London wanted

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a double bedroom in London, preferably with an en-suite, although that’s definitely not a deal breaker. As I’ve never lived in London before, I’m not too fussed about the area as long as it’s within roughly a 40–50 minute commute to work. My office is in Blackfriars, so I’m hoping most well-connected areas should work.

A little bit about me — I’m 28, originally from Nigeria, but I’ve lived in England for over 11 years, so I’ve definitely lost the Nigerian accent at this point 😂. I’ve been living in Leeds for the last five years, working as a Chartered Accountant, but I’m now moving down to London for a new role at a firm specialising in restructuring and insolvency.

I’m starting my new job on 19th October, but I’m hoping to move down in early October so I have some time to properly settle in and get to know London.

Outside of work, I’m pretty easy-going. I love going for walks, going to the gym, listening to music (massive DnB fan), football, rugby, and exploring new bakeries and coffee shops. I’m always up for a drink or two at the pub, but equally happy with a quiet movie night in.

I’m clean and tidy and definitely appreciate coming home to a flat that’s kept the same way. I’m sociable and enjoy having a good relationship with the people I live with, but I’m also respectful of everyone’s space and downtime.

I’ve got quite a bit of availability over the next couple of weeks for in-person viewings, so I’d be more than happy to come down to London to meet and see the flat.
