Working/Mature Student looking for a home in Derby

Hi, I’m a mature student starting at the University of Derby and I’m looking for a room in a shared house or, ideally, a one-bedroom apartment.
I’ll be working alongside my course and am looking for a comfortable, friendly and respectful place to call home. I’ve spent many years living and working abroad and have plenty of experience living in shared accommodation.
I’m a trained chef and worked in the industry for many years, but more recently I’ve spent the last five years working in landscape gardening. I’m clean, tidy and considerate, and I really value good communication and creating a home that everyone feels comfortable in.
Outside of studying and work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, camping, surfing, yoga and generally spending time outdoors. I’m sociable and enjoy getting to know the people I live with, but I also appreciate everyone having their own space and independence.
I’m looking for a home with someone who takes pride in their living space and values a calm, clean and respectful environment. I can provide references and would be very happy to have a chat or meet up to see if we’d be a good fit.
