Description
I'm Davidzo (born Aida - but nobody's called me that since primary school, so you can simply call me Dav)! 🤸🏾♀️ I’m 21, soon to turn 22, and finally making my move to London after growing up in North Buckinghamshire.
I've just graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, and I'm starting an MSc in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology at King's College London this September. I'm financially set up for the year with a guarantor already in place, so I'm ready to move in as soon as a room becomes available!
I'm a sociable, easygoing person who loves dabbling in a pub trip or night out (but is just as happy, if not more-so, with a quiet night in) and always respects other people's spaces and routines. 🧘🏾♀️
Outside of studying, I'm into fashion, art, film and theatre, music, screenwriting, dance and skiing, and I've recently returned from two weeks hiking the Caucasus mountains in Georgia - travelling and staying active form massive parts of my life (my Dad’s actually a multiple Guinness World Record-holding endurance athlete, so I think it's in the blood…).
I've spent the last three years in close shared housing at university and always make the effort to keep communal spaces clean and tidy - bins, cleaning rotas and general upkeep are things I take seriously, and I treat every space I’ve lived in as if it was my own.
Here are my must-haves - but I promise I’m not too picky!
• Double/single rooms only (no room-sharing) 🛏️
• Move-in by 24th September at the very latest - but the sooner, the better! 📆
• Ideally with bills included, capped, or fixed (no unprecedented costs) 🧾
• Easy access to a washing machine (and ideally a dryer too, but my trusty clothes horse has never failed me!) 🧺
• Easy commuting distance to KCL's Denmark Hill campus where I’ll be studying 🎓
• High-speed, reliable internet access is a must for my studies 🛜
• Close or within easy commuting distance to local supermarkets & amenities (e. g. gyms, nail salons) 🛒
My maximum budget is up to £1,100 pcm (including bills), but ideally I’m looking for anything within the £700-£900 range.
I'm flexible and available for calls, coffee meet-ups (though more likely an iced matcha for me!) or viewings ASAP, whenever suits - happy to chat and answer any questions! 💫
