Professional male seeking a room near Exeter

Hi, my name is Ben Ascher. I'm 27 years old, just starting employment as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Exeter. Since I'll be regularly commuting to work, I'm looking for a place either within Exeter itself, or nearby which has convenient access to a railway station.

I'm seeking a single room within a shared flat or house with access to a kitchen and ideally (but not necessarily) also shared living room/common space. A furnished room would be preferable.

I lived with housemates throughout my Masters and PhD, and I generally get along well with others. I'm typically clean and quiet, since I recognize that others are sharing the same space, but I'm also happy to be more social (cooking together, game nights, etc). I don't have a preference for roommate age or occupation, but would ask that they try to be clean in shared spaces and fairly quiet after 23:00 on weeknights, just so that everyone can get to sleep.
