Single female and cute hound looking for room!

What to write. I wasn’t expecting to be renting again when I’m nearing 40 – but life does like to throw you some curveballs doesn’t it?

I’m a nurse by profession, although I’m currently undertaking a diploma in canine behaviourism. I adore all animals (especially dogs) and take great pride in the fact that they trust me in return (a most honourable trait in my opinion). I’m a fairly introverted person most of the time, although I do love a good chat and adventure shenanigans with people who are part of my tribe. I enjoy cooking and would be happy to share the odd meal if someone was up for it – cooking for one is SO labour intensive. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of others. I like to lay in on my days off and sometimes enjoy staying up late to enjoy time to myself without the expectation of others (thank the AuDHD) – however, I’m quiet and will hibernate in my room at these times 😊

I love reading, house plants, swimming, good bakeries and coffee, pottery, being creative for the fun of it, and spending time with my amazing nephews and nieces. I also have the most beautiful rescue hound called Stevie (check out her whom I co-parent 50/50 with my ex - also a very good friend of mine. She is getting older now and due to injuries sustained on the streets her arthritis is getting worse – so ideally she would be in a house where she could lounge around in sunspots or in the garden most of the day without being pestered too much.

I moved down to Devon from Bristol to save money, but now it’s time for the next chapter. I’m currently living in my parents garage so can be flexible about moving dates. I also have all my own furniture but also somewhere to store it all so can be flexible around that too.
