Looking for a home is west London

Hi, I'm 24, originally from Belgium, and an incoming PhD student in Aeronautics at Imperial College (South Kensington). I'm moving over from Delft and looking for a room in a cosy, relaxed shared flat or house — somewhere I can actually call home, not just a place to stay.

A bit about me: clean, tidy, and easy to live with. Happy to share a beer and a chat in the kitchen, but I also value quiet during the week since I'll be working. Non-smoker. I'll be a full-time student, so reliable with rent and around fairly regular hours.

I'm into sports — I go to the gym and swim regularly — and I'm always up for trying new things, so keen to meet housemates I can share activities and downtime with.

What I'm after:

- Budget: up to £1,250/month
- Areas: anywhere with a decent commute to South Kensington — Acton, Hammersmith, Shepherd's Bush, or good-value spots further out on a direct line
- Move-in: 1st October
- Length: happy to commit long-term
