Quiet Bright Double Room in South London - Wanted!

Hello Spare-Room Goers,

I'm Leif (Leaf🌿) a 37 year old male, originally from East Sussex, but have been living in South East London (Herne Hill, West Norwood, Brixton) for the past 7 years.

I am working as a Horticulturist currently based at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. My hours of work are Monday-Friday: 08:00-16:00, with the occasional weekend work.

I'm currently living in lovely green/leafy Herne Hill. Unfortunately moving out of my ground floor garden flat, but looking for a similar place to call home. Open to either furnished or unfurnished room, flat share or buddying up on a new place ideally in South East or West London.

I'm looking for some friendly, light-hearted, lovely people in which to share a peaceful, warm and social home with. Long term let with no lengthy contracts would be ideal, but happy to commit to long term if the place is a great fit. Also if possible room for bicycle storage, either outside or in (not that over protective over my none flashy bike).

I'm a warm, friendly, neat and tidy, considerate person to live with and I respect other peoples privacy and needs. Not much of a party person, more of an early bird than a night owl these days. But totally open to socialising, occasional pub visits, sharing dinners (vegetarian), cups of tea or something stronger with the odd Netflix binge and hanging out as a flat building friendships. It’s a home after all and I want it to feel so.

Interests include Gardening, Nature and the Environment, Cycle Touring, Hiking, Cooking, Travel, Music Gigs, Bouldering, Photography, and Gaming (the usual list of generic interests) looking to take up Swimming and Tennis or another racket sport.

I have a few decent Kitchen gadgets, a healthy collection of houseplants, eclectic record collection, a PS5 and a decent sized LG Smart TV to bring into the house share. I’m also a decent cook or at the very least enjoy the process, so expect lots of tasty offerings.

I'm flexible and available to move pretty much straight away, have put notice in on current place but have 2 months flexibility. I’m available for viewings/meet-ups with households most evenings after work or anytime over the weekends to see if we are a good fit.
