Description
Hi there,
Brace yourselves! Tis a wee bit long, but should give you a clue as to whether living together would be a good idea!
I am looking for a comfortable and cosy place to be my home. It is very important for me to live in a warm, friendly and kind atmosphere. I will need to be able to work at home, play my ukulele at home as well as relax.
As much as I enjoy going out and socialising I am in no way looking for a party house!
A big room is ideal because I have a lot of books, which I need for my work, and I do have some furniture-bookcases and some drawers. I would like a room with big windows.
I would prefer to live with one or two young professional(s) like myself, between my age and early forties, and pref with people who have similar values or can respect mine; I am a total leftie and I care deeply about our world and people in it. Probably not going to get on well with any Tory/UKIPer folk. As much I respect each persons right to feel and think what they do, I don't think living with people with wildly different views would be a good idea.
I love to be in a clean and tidy home. We can talk about how we like to keep our home when we meet.
I love beautiful things, and I love a home to feel beautiful, so it would be lovely to be able to add art/etc into our shared spaces.
I am a sociable person, I am quite at home with myself and have a bubbly character and have quite a goofy sense of humour- I am quite enthusiastic! And I have a hearty laugh :-) Although I am not particularly quiet, I don't however like to be in peoples faces, so worry not.
I am interested in almost everything there is to discover about the world, I love hearing peoples stories and and enjoy having a meal with people on occasion (middle eastern and indian food are my thing) .
All the people I have lived with since I left university have become dear friends of mine, so this makes me hopeful that I can have good relationships with house-mates; although I am not expecting or looking for best buddies, it would be great to feel comfortable at home.
Hope I have given you a well rounded enough picture!
Thank you!
