Quiet Englishwoman seeks pleasant new home

I'm 52, quietly sociable, reliable, trustworthy, clean and tidy (but not OCD), like dogs, good cook, lived in the USA for a decade, read a lot and don't have a facebook page! I'm looking for a light airy spacious room in a clean middle class non-smoking household in a safe quiet neighbourhood with trees!
I work regular office hours in North Acton and can commute via the Bakerloo Line or Overground to Willesden Junction or via Central Line to North Acton. I much prefer a modern space and not a Victorian unless it's completely refurbished.
I like to cook healthy meals and bake occasionally and shop at Waitrose and John Lewis. I also like to read and use the local library a lot. I'm looking for a home, not a party house, and would like share with other(s) who can have be sociable without getting drunk or doing drugs.
I would be happy to share with a four legged friend, also.
