33, Creative Soul, Looking for SE LDN Nest

My name is Sarah, I've recently turned 33-year-old and work full-time in Student Wellbeing at a well known University in Central London. I’m looking for a long-term, comfortable house share preferably in South-East London (Zones 1-3) or South-East Central London, ideally with a maximum of two other female professionals - SE London is a preference but am also looking at the areas of London I have listed. I have been renting for over 13 years, both in the UK and abroad, and am hoping to find a place that genuinely feels a comfortable home and safe space.

To be upfront, I’m seeking a home where all areas are openly and equally shared, creating a balanced living environment. Respectfully, this means I’m not looking to live as a lodger with a landlord, a relative of the landlord, or with a couple/small family.

My maximum budget is between £850-£880 per month, including bills - I would consider going higher for the right space.

**A little bit more about me**:

I am a native East Londoner but happily call myself a South-East Londoner ever since studying English Literature at Goldsmiths. I love books (especially non-fiction), am a Francophile (I travel to France several times a year) and enjoy portrait photography (@studio. szb) when I can find people to photograph. I’m also passionate about the arts (particularly theatre but not musicals) and am a traveller whenever I find the time and spare cash.

Friends describe me as warm, sociable, and a storyteller (apparently I'm funny and can tell a tale). I am a conversationalist as I am allergic to small talk and love a good chat but equally value and respect people's personal space and downtime as well as my own.

I am clean and tidy (especially in communal areas) but not compulsivly or excessively so nor do I want to live on a place like this where everything needs to be perfect all the time. I am community minded and community focused which means when I clean I do so not only for myself but for the space to contribute to a homely feel.

I am mindful, patient, respectful, considerate and big on communication. I really value living in a calm, welcoming environment as I don't like living with or in chaos. I’m looking to share a home with like-minded people where these values align and who value a relaxed, peaceful and communal atmosphere.

I don’t smoke or have pets and due to allergies, will be looking to live in a smoke-free place.

Regarding furnishing, I don't mind the room being fully or partly furnished but I will not need a mattress, as I have a specialist one to support my back. I will also be looking for spaces with a good amount of storage as I need somewhere to store my books.

One last note: I usually work from home twice a week and, occasionally, for the entire week if work gets particularly busy at work or if I am experiencing a lot of back pain that week however, I only work from a small laptop - again, I wanted to be upfront about this from the beginning. If anything changes, I will let people know asap.

I am an admin girlie therefore, in case references are needed (work contract, payslips, personal reference etc) this is ready to go and hand over if and when necessary.
