Crystal Palace for 1 month long teaching contract

Hi, I am Richard, a conscientious, clean and relatively tidy guy looking for flat or house share for the month of June only up to 15 minutes from Crystal Palace station.

I am a teacher and have enjoyed the flexibility of supply teaching since March 2011. It's useful for me to have free bike parking within walking distance of where I stay, good access to main routes, but not essential for areas with good public transport and bike hire schemes.

I already work long hours so a big commute is not incredibly attractive to me. I have a contract near Crystal Palace train station forthcoming. My ideal house would be located on that train line, or in a triangle between Tulse Hill, Herne Hill and Dulwich areas as maximum distance away.

I have been told that I am very easy to live with: interested in people, friendly yet also discreet, respectful of privacy etc.

My ideal house is with just one other. Or a larger share that would be made up of other non-smoking sharers who live harmoniously, working co-operatively where possible, respectful and mindful of each others' personal space.

In larger house shares I'd rather chip in for shared essentials etc. and have a cleaner once a week that try to use a cleaning rota; I find they really don't work well for busy professional people.

I like cooking for others and I've enjoyed having shared meals in previous house shares once a week, but this is not essential.

I am also open to being a lodger with a live in situation. Best for me in this scenario is with just one other other, but if the people are right I would, of course consider other living contexts.

I try to to practice for around 30 minutes a day on my guitar, but can do it away from home if it bothers sharers. (I get positive comments, mainly!)
