Hello!
I am a 30 y/o freelance fashion designer from Glasgow, returning back after 8 years living and working in London. I am currently looking to buy a place of my own here, so am looking for a looking for a room to rent in the interim. I will be available to rent from Jan/Feb (though can be flexible on dates) and will likely be looking to stay for a duration of 3-5 months.
Ideally I am looking to be in the West End or South side and would like to live with 1-2 other people max. It would be great to find a housemate of with similar interests to myself (female or male.) And while I have friends in Glasgow, it is also always great to make new ones, so people I get along with who are up for socialising now and again would be ideal!
I am freelance, and intend to find a studio in the city centre to work from, but I often WFH a few days at the moment. (My work is all computer based, and I would do this in my bedroom.)
My weekdays are generally pretty chilled, and I spend most of my spare time doing yoga/exercise, socialising, cooking, ceramics, travel. So I am often out and about, but equally like to stay in and cook and relax (and watch trash TV if you're into that..!) I love a drink now and again, but in general like to keep my living environment as a calm and relaxing space. I'm also very clean and tidy and well trained from many years living in house shares.
