Looking for double en suite room

I own my own home in Wiltshire but I’m considering moving to Cardiff. I want to rent for up to a year whilst I decide if it’s a permanent move I want to make. I’m looking to move around summertime for between 6-12 months.

I have one very well behaved dog who I will bring with me. She’s a professional dog model so she’s well trained, friendly with all people including strangers. She sleeps all day and other than the odd bark to a strange noise she’s so quiet you’ll barely notice she is there. For this reason I need a private back garden where she can toilet.

As for me, I will generally be working from home so just need a room with a double bed and desk. I like to workout a few times a week so a gym nearby would be great. I like to go to adult dance classes in the evenings. I also sometimes tutor GCSE maths some evenings. I don’t drink or smoke and am happy to keep to myself but also can be very sociable and chatty - really I just adapt to the person.

My partner is likely to visit on weekends but we are both very respectful of the space. Ideally I would like to live as a lodger with just a live in landlord rather than a shared rental. If I do a buddy up then I’d be looking at 1 other person max.

I don’t know the area well enough to say locations I’m looking at yet but as long as I’m very close (5mins drive) to a supermarket, gym, petrol station and within 15mins of some adult dance classes / dance studios then that suits me. I also would like parking at the property.
