Looking for room to rent

I am relocating to Southampton in September as I am starting a new job as a shop manager within the city. I am looking to relocate to within walking distance of my work in Shirley. My duties require me to be flexible over the days I work so I need a place relatively close the store.

I do not drive: this means due to the distance involved with my move I will limited amount of time when I can view properties. I plan to visit the city to conduct viewings on the August bank holiday weekend in a few weeks time.

I have lived in several HMOs and shared with many different kinds of people from students in their early twenties to those who are middle aged. With all of them whatever their gender, ethnicity, cultural background or personal beliefs I have come to realise it is important for both of us to respect each other and to adopt no (realistic or otherwise) expectations about each other's personalities.

I love my music but I am happy to listen with my headphones. My pet hate is not being able to sleep when I need to, so I understand it is important to be quiet for others to.

I am out and about lot but will happily talk to others and socialise when I am around.

I have no problems with fellow housemates having guests so long as the noise is kept to a minimum when I need to sleep.

I would sum myself up as a quiet, friendly guy who will gradually come part of the home over the coming weeks/months as I get to know you.
