Room sought in: SE11, SW8, SW1 or Westminster

I'm a 50-something marketing professional looking for a room, ideally with a desk or space for one, to rent in calm, friendly but not overbearing surroundings.

I'm easy-going, respectful of other people's space, and responsible. In the past I've maintained a flat for an absentee landlady and even interviewed prospective flatmates myself. More recently, my current place has a live-in landlord, and I'm happy to repeat the experience.

My party days are behind me (never started, really), so there'll be no unwelcome guests, and I'm not one for noise either. I relax by reading, streaming football, movies or music, or tinkering with a novel I'm sort of writing.

I should also mention that I work from home, apart from visiting my employer in the Channel Islands for five days each month.

Preferred areas are Kennington, Vauxhall, Pimlico and Westminster. My budget is up to £1300 a month. References available if needed. Please feel free to ask any questions.
