Looking for a double room or buddy up

I’m looking for a double room, ideally with no carpet, in a flat with a maximum of 3 rooms, spacious enough to comfortably fit a desk and a wardrobe.

A bit about me: I’m a 40-year-old Italian web developer working at an advertising agency in Soho. I currently work hybrid, splitting my time between home and the office. When working from home, I work from my room, so it would need to be spacious enough to comfortably fit a desk.

I’m looking for a calm, clean, and comfortable place that truly feels like home. I prefer a peaceful, mature household where everyone is respectful of shared spaces. I see home as a place to relax and unwind after a busy day, definitely not a party house, as I prefer to keep social life and nights out outside the home.

I’m quite tidy and like to keep shared spaces clean, and I think it just makes living together easier for everyone. I also like to look after the house and keep it well-maintained, and I’m happy to help out with the day-to-day bits around the home.

I’d also enjoy living in a friendly household where people get along, sharing a drink or dinner from time to time or watching a film together is always nice. Of course, everyone has their own routines and independence, so I don’t expect us to become best friends, but I do prefer a home where flatmates are more than just strangers.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active with walks and occasional cycling, catching up with friends, and exploring good food spots around London. I also like unwinding with a good film at the cinema. I have Tate, V&A, and Barbican memberships, plus a +1, so free art outings are always an option 🙂
