Looking for a change

I have been commuting out of London for over a year now by car after getting a new job and some changes in my life and I am now interested in moving into a smaller place closer to where I work while I start to save up to buy my own flat in a few years.

I have a cat from a former relationship, who needs access to the outside, but I am currently still trying to see if I can leave her with a friend who does not have a pet.

A little about me, I am 34 and I have been working as a solicitor in the property sector in London for over 10 years, last year I accepted a new job which is based in Kent, so I started commuting and it took me 1.5 hours of driving each day.

I like to be social, and have a lot of friends in and around London who I regularly meet up with, but I also like to meet new people. I am social but I do like having my own space in order to work or unwind after work.

I have a lot of furniture in my current flat that I am likely to leave or sell before I move so happy to take anything that's missing in a new home
