Love spending time exploring and enjoying beautiful Yorkshire & beyond. Had spent several years in great "Spareroom" in W. Yorkshire. Same home, owner. Positive experiences for each of us. Unfortunately she relocated.
Not seeking long term; flexible June-Sept.
You would still have your 'space' with me off to Scotland, London, SW...elsewhere for few days to week, usually with walking groups. So not 24/7 every week.
A small household offering a well furnished bedroom (ensuite a plus)with access to kitchen for preparing some meals, and laundry. Prefer TV in BR in order to catch up with some of your much better dramas....
Since no auto, MUST be within walking distance of train &/or busline and shops. Dales bus, Dales Rail walks etc. See prefered locations).
Neat, clean, respectful of others' space and property. Independent and self sufficient but would be up for occassionally sharing a few laughs, a pub visit, a walk, or theater, music venue.
NOT seeking room in houseshare of several rooms. individuals.
Maybe ideal: an empty nester who has a comfortable room to spare, and might not necessarily want to have a permanent or long term boarder. Means to few extra ££ for winter's heating bills? Or, couple weeks in Spain?
If traveling for few days or weeks would know reliable person left behind to keep home secure and garden watered, mail collected. Not seeking pet sit position, but most willing to walk, occassionally care for cat or dog, if away for long day/evening.
Take full responsibility for routinely keeping home secure, cleaning up after self: launder bedding, clean bath, kitchen areas.
Spend most days out exploring or heading out for day long rambles. Or: visit nearby villages, museums, theater efc.
Do need to feel it is 'ok' if spending a day just "hanging out" at, or around the home, reading, writing, enjoying a nice couple of hours in park.
Most respectful of your time and space. Independent and not in need of someone to 'entertain' or include me in outings, plans.

Seeking a 'safe peaceful place' to occassionally escape from 3 more years of Daily US turmoil. No fans of Trump or his followers or "the like" Please! Hope for temporary escape from the constant barrage of hatred and lies here.
