Description
***NO AGENTS, PLEASE UN-TICK THE BOX***
Hi there!
I'm Stella, and I've recently relocated back to the UK after spending some time abroad to pursue a master's degree. I am currently searching for employment in the environmental sector. It's difficult to look for a house without a job, but it is equally difficult to look for a job without a house... Catch-22!
I hope you can give me a chance and keep reading.
I'm looking for a place to feel at home, where I can "find my feet" again in Bristol. I'll consider self-contained/1-bed apartments, houseshares (max 3 sharers), or sharing with a live-in owner (landlady, preferably). My budget is only an indication, depending on what it is I am renting (a room, a studio, a 1-bed...) and move-in date is flexible.
*About me*
I am a woman (she/her), in my early 30's. I define myself as a "sociable introvert": I have friends and crave connection, but I then need to retreat to my own self. I tend to do this at home, so I treat it as my sanctuary. I enjoy cooking, curling up with a cup of tea, reading a book, and taking care of plants. If there is an outdoors space, that's a bonus! I am quite organised and certainly display some OCD-tendencies... so you can rest assured that I will keep it clean and tidy! I can respect another person's space, though am also someone who likes good company and hope to offer both and receive them in return. Ideally, I'd also like to share my home with someone who cares about sustainability. Though I don't define myself as a vegetarian, I tend to "eat food, not too much, mostly plants" as Michael Pollan once put it. I won't judge you for your eating habits, yet I will appreciate your awareness that you are what you eat! We're all learning, including myself...
*What do you do "for a living"?*
I have recently relocated back to the UK from a period spent in the Netherlands to study a master's degree in environmental psychology, and am currently looking for a job in the green sector in the greater Bristol area. I have a place to stay currently, which allows me for flexibility in how much time I take in choosing a suitable housing option. I have savings, and family support if needed. I can provide references and a guarantor, if required.
If that sounds like a good match, feel free to message me or express interest! :)
