Friendly Canadian Freelancer with Cat!

Hello future housemate! I'm Rebecca- Canadian, a creative freelancer, and looking for a new place to call home! I've written loads about myself below, but the most important bits are: I work from home, need lots of storage space because I have A LOT of stuff, and I have a cat called Scraggles! He's a super chill and very sweet boy who sleeps most of the day and stays indoors, so no cat flap necessary! Looking for a double bedroom (en-suite would be lovely) to share with 1 flatmate, ideally in South London.

Now for all the finer details...

I'm a self-employed (vegan) food photographer, recipe developer, digital content creator, and singer. I work mostly from home, so I'm after a flat/house I can really settle into, and looking for someone who is fine with me not having a regular 9-5 (but if you do it's helpful for not getting too much in each other's way during the day).

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen for work, so I'd love a big, bright space with natural light, a large fridge, and lots of storage/cupboard space for my food photography bits (I have a weakness for handmade ceramics and vintage photo props). I clean up after myself and I'm mindful not to hog the kitchen when housemates are home, though, and I'll always have lots of delicious food to share!

I'm a classically trained soprano and also record music part-time (hymn singing, it's a long story). I do that from my room, so a relatively quiet neighbourhood is ideal, though as long as the house isn't right under a flight path or beside train tracks, it's probably fine. I love nature and being outside, so nearby parks and green spaces would be grand, and having a garden would be a dream!

I like keeping things tidy, but I'm not a total neat freak. I can get along with all sorts, but I'd love to live with charismatic, fun-loving, open-minded, and laid back folk. If you're creative/artistic/musical it's an added bonus!

I'm an extroverted introvert, so I can be chatty and sociable, but also love time alone. i'm single and not a partier in the slightest! I'm happy to find flatmates who can become friends, or just be housemates who live well together. I really just want to feel comfortable and at home with whomever I'm sharing a living space. I love cooking, singing, watching tv and films, am a bit of a Harry Potter nerd, I'm obsessed with my cat (and all cats in general), and I'm slowly turning into my green-thumbed mother when it comes to collecting house plants. If you like spider plants, please have one (or several) of mine! I've propagated 7 so far from my original plant!
