Looking 4 a spacious room in a sociable houseshare

Hello!

My landlord has recently decided to sell my current house (where I've lived for the past 8 and a half years), and so I'm looking to move into another lovely house share by 5th December, at the latest.

I am from Brazil and have lived in Manchester for many years. I'm a photographer and I'm passionate about arts and culture. I'm left-wing and progressive and I'd love to live with like-minded folk, in the hope that we'd become good friends and socialise together, as well as share a roof. Feeling like part of a community is important to me.

I've lived in house shares for many years and I'm a mindful housemate, respecting people's privacy and downtime too.

I love dogs, but don't own one.

Some of my interests include: going to the theatre, cinema, attending sip and paint or life drawing sessions, playing board games with friends, occasionally doing a pub quiz (although I'm pretty bad at it), going to gigs and festivals and travelling. I also enjoy dancing, and I sing in a choir.

I need a big room with plenty of storage space (or some storage elsewhere in the house, such as garage or spare room). I have most of my furniture, but no bed or wardrobe. I also have a hammock with stand for the garden!

I've been a Chorltonite for the best part of a decade, and would love to carry on living here, but would also consider other places in South Manchester such as Didsbury, Whalley Range and Withington. Although I drive, it would be nice to be somewhere with decent transport links, also near parks, restaurants, cafés, etc. And free parking would be essential too.
