A place to call home

Hi,
I’ve lived in London for the past 10 years and I’ve decided it was time for a change. I’m. very excited to start a new chapter in Edinburgh and I’m looking for a cosy home from mid January 2025.

Please note, I want to share a home not rent a room.

I’ve lived on my own for the past 4 years, before that I did many years of flatshare, and I’m looking forward to meet new people. I have an adorable French bulldog, he is very well behaved and clean, he’s a total snuggle bug and very friendly. He’s been trained to stay at home by himself so he’s very easy going. He’s also good with cats as he grew up with one.

As for me, I’m a health coach, I’ve run my own business for a few years and due to the move, I’m shifting most of my activities online. I will however worked some hours outside the house as well.

Outside of work, I’m a big theatre fan and outdoor enthusiast. I love to bake, read and hike. I trained in performing arts and I’m looking to go back into dance and singing ( I was part of a choir in London).

I’m very respectful of other people’s space and will expect the same from you. My work demands a lot of social interaction so I do enjoy my me time to recharge, but equally the occasional Netflix evening, deep conversations and shared meals. I don’t smoke or drink.

I would prefer a female flatmate and I’m not keen on sharing with a lot of people, ideally just the one. An outdoor space (garde, patio) would definitely be a plus, and I’d need street parking available or a driveway as I own a car. Lastly and this is really important to me, I need to have easy access to the seaside so my ideal area is Portobello.
