Calm quiet private room wanted :)

Hey everyone,

I'm Hilary, I've been living in house shares in London for many years now and I currently need something different during a bit of a stressful life transition. I've been struggling to find somewhere that suits my needs so I am just putting an honest ad out in to the universe hoping something might come back.

A bit about me- I'm 32, I am introverted and neurodivergent, I'm quite prone to being overstimulated in London. However, I am social and friendly. I teach dance part time. I am creative, I love making art and enjoy music, yoga and singing. I recently finished studies in Psychology and currently only have part time hours, though this will change at some point.

What I'm looking for- If I were really honest, I would love my own place at this stage in life, but London costs won't allow that. I would therefore love to find somewhere quiet, where I feel no pressure to socialise regularly or debrief my day to day. Perhaps a lodger style set up which allows me lots of privacy, though I would want to feel the place was my own with this dynamic, not a family home. Alternatively I am open to the possibility of sharing with someone who finds themselves in a similar position and has similar needs. I would love somewhere with a double room, and not too dingy as I do spend a fair bit of time creating and working in my room. I would also consider buddying up on a 2 bed with the right roomie. With part time hours, it's important I can pass the referencing or have the option to provide a UK guarantor. I don't have too many people over, but would like to have the option on rare occasion (maybe once a month). Location wise- North or East is Ideal. I am looking to move in a month or so, but can be flexible for the right place.

I'm aware I may have come off antisocial, but I am a kind, genuine person just trying to meet my needs at present. If anyone has an arrangement that may suit me, or you would like to meet and buddy up (go for coffee etc), please get in touch.
